Troubleshooting Guide

  • The keypad will beep if troubles are present. The [*] key will silence the beeping; it will not repair the problem.

  • Press [*] [2] to view what the trouble is.

→ Use the arrow keys [< >] to scroll, if there is more than one problem present it will scroll to the other occurring troubles. Press [*] to view troubles for each category.

→ For service please note trouble conditions as well as trouble type and contact Phase 3 Security at 403-783-2298.

Adding / Deleting Access Codes from the Keypad & Changing Partition Assignment

→ Users need to be added / deleted both manually in your keypad and with Phase 3 Security. You can call in any changes to 403-783-2298, or email admin@phase3security.com. If this person is to be on the callout list, please provide their phone number as well as the position in the callout list (1st call, 3rd call, etc.).

 

→ If the code you are trying to enter is the duplicate of any existing code already used in the keypad, an error tone will sound, and the original code you were attempting to change will be restored.

 

→ The system must be disarmed while making changes.

 

→ Pressing the [#] key will exit out of programming and return the keypad to the main screen at any time.

 

Keypad Instructions:

 

To add a new user:

Step 1: [*] [5]

Step 2: [Master Code] - 4 digit code

Step 3: Scroll [< or >] to the desired user number. (User #’s with a – in the bottom right corner, have no passcode attached. If there is a passcode attached to the user # there will be a P in the bottom right corner.)

Step 4: Press [*] once you find a user number with no passcode attached

Step 5: The Keypad will read Passcode, Press [*] 

Step 6: Enter new 4 digit passcode

Step 7: Press [#] [#] to Exit user code programming

 

Example: To add user 4 with access code 1234 & a mastercode of 5678

[*] [5] [5678] [Scroll to user #] [*] [*] [1234] [#] [#]

 

To delete a user:

Step 1: Press [*] [5].

Step 2: [Master Code] - 4 digit code.

Step 3: Scroll [< or >] to the desired user number. (User #’s with a – in the bottom right corner, have no passcode attached. If there is a passcode attached to the user # there will be a P in the bottom right corner.).

Step 4: Press [*] once the user number that needs to be deleted is showing on the screen.

Step 5: The Keypad will read Access Code, Press [*].

Step 6: Press [*] To Delete existing pass code.

Step 7: Press [#] [#] to Exit user code programming.

 

 

 

To Assign / Remove Partition Access to User / Access Code

Step 1: Press [*] [5].

Step 2: [Master Code] - 4 digit code.

Step 3: Scroll [< or >] to the desired user number. (User #’s with a – in the bottom right corner, have no passcode attached. If there is a passcode attached to the user # there will be a P in the bottom right corner.).

Step 4: Press [*] once the user number or name is showing on the screen.

Step 5: Scroll [< or >] over to Partition Assign

Step 6: Press [*]

Step 7: Scroll [< or >] to the desired Partition and press [*] to change the Partition Assignment... Y in the bottom right corner means the user is assigned to the partition. N means it is not.

Step 8: Press [#][#][#]

Programming the Time & Date

The time operates on a 24 hour clock.

 If your system time / date is incorrect follow the steps below to correct the time / date.

The new time may not be displayed for a few minutes afterwards!

 

Keypad Instructions:

 

Step 1: [*]

Step 2: [6]

Step 3: [Master Code] - 4 digit code of user 40/owner/manager

Step 4: [01]

Step 5: [hh:mm:MM:DD:YY]

             [hour / minute / month / day / year]

Step 6: [#] [#]

 

Ex: Set time for 8:05am March 28, 2008 using mastercode of 5678

[*] [6] [5678] 0[1] [08 05 03 28 08] [#] [#] 

 

Ex: Set time for 1:26 pm May 2, 2008 using mastercode of 5678.

Zone Bypassing – Neo

  • The System Must be disarmed prior to proceeding.

  • Press the * Key.

  • Press the 1 Key.

  • Use the > key to scroll to the zone you wish to bypass.

  • Press the * Key on the appropriate zone (If the zone is open there will be a O in the bottom right corner).

  • A “B” should appear next to the zone when the zone is bypassed.

  • Press the # key repeatedly to exit to the home screen (Ready light should appear).

  • System can now be armed with zones bypassed.

  • If armed, the bypass will be removed at next disarming.

  • To remove the bypass on the zone, repeat these instructions.
